Can you ship a ____________ ?

Yes!  We can ship anything except hazardous materials, live animals, or items prohibited by law.  If you're not sure about shipping something, email us or call for advice!  We're open 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays.

Where is your store?

944 East Highway 50 in Salida -- between the Kentucky Fried Chicken and the Conoco station, and next door to Luigi's Pizza Parlour.  See this page  for maps and directions.

Do you ship Fed Ex?  UPS?  U.S. Postal Service?

Yes, we can ship via any of those carriers, and we accept parcels and envelopes for all of them as well.

Do you accept prepaid dropoffs?

Yes, we certainly do!  In fact, we welcome your Fed Ex, UPS, and U.S. Postal Service prepaid dropoffs, and we are happy to advise you as to how to apply your labels.

Can I mail and ship items at Pak Mail and have you take them to the Post Office?

Yes!  We are happy to help you ship your items through the U.S. Postal Service, if that is what you prefer.

Can I have my parcels delivered to Pak Mail instead of waiting for the drivers?

Certainly!  Contact us with the shipment details, then ask your sender to send your parcels to you c/o Pak Mail, 944 E. Rainbow Blvd., Salida CO 81201, (719) 539-7085.  For a small fee, we'll sign for your parcels, notify you of their arrival, and store them in our secure mailroom until you have the opportunity to pick them up.  We can even deliver them to you at a time convenient to you!  (Fees apply; subject to availability.)

I missed a home delivery.  Can you help me find my Fed Ex or UPS packages?

Although we are not a Fed Ex or UPS branch, we can sometimes help you find your packages.  If you have a tracking number or door tag number, and provide us with your name and physical address, we'll do our best to help, subject to our availability.

Better yet, avoid the hassle of waiting around for the drivers.  Arrange IN ADVANCE to have your parcels delivered straight to us!  For only $4.00, we'll sign for your package, notify you, and store your parcel in our secure mailroom until you have time to pick it up.

Can you pick up my items for shipping?

Yes, we would be delighted!  Call us at 719-539-7085 to make arrangements for a pickup time that is convenient for you.  (Subject to staff availability; fees apply for large items or trips farther than 10 miles from our store.)

Do you provide coverage for loss or damage?

Yes!  We provide coverage for loss of or damage to any item shipped at our store. 

All packages shipped via Fed Ex Express, Fed Ex Ground, Fed Ex Freight, and UPS (United Parcel Service) receive automatic coverage for $100 minimum.  If your package's contents are worth more, you can add to that for a small fee.

Many carriers will deny claims if packages were improperly or unprofessionally packaged, but if we package and ship your items, then we guarantee the delivery date, and we take care of all the paperwork if your packages are damaged or lost.

Why would I want a Pak Mail mailbox?

Because we accept and protect all your letters and packages: Fed Ex packages and freight, UPS packages and freight, U.S. Postal Service letters and packages, overnight letters, CODs, registered mail, items from couriers, and even dropoffs from friends, family, or business contacts.
